Basketball Recap: Caribou Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fort Kent last Wednesday, Caribou came back down to earth. The Caribou Vikings fell 65-52 to the Ellsworth Eagles on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Caribou fell to 4-1. As for Ellsworth, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Caribou and Washington Academy will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Ellsworth, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Presque Isle at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
