Football Recap: Lynnwood Sets Scoring Season-High Against Mariner

Lynnwood scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 26-14 to the Mariner Marauders. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Marauders: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Lynnwood still got an impressive performance from Ty Jensen, who rushed for 63 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mariner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Lynnwood will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sultan at 8:00 p.m. As for Mariner, they will face off against Kamiak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
