Preview: West Burlington/Notre Dame vs. Tipton
After two weeks on the road, West Burlington/Notre Dame is heading back home. On Friday they take on Tipton at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-39, which was the final score in West Burlington/Notre Dame's tilt against West Liberty last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for West Burlington/Notre Dame.
Meanwhile, if Tipton were riding high off their 61-34 takedown of Camanche two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Tipton took a serious blow against Mt. Vernon, falling 8-68. Tipton's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
