Basketball Recap: Grant Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Grant and Spring Lake squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Grant had to settle for second. They were dealt a 49-15 defeat at the hands of the Spring Lake Lakers. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The loss snapped Grant's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-13 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Spring Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.
