Baseball Recap: Glastonbury Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Glastonbury and East Catholic, and East Catholic kept the tradition alive. The Guardians fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Guardians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Glastonbury dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for East Catholic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Coming up, Glastonbury will square off against E.O. Smith/Tolland at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Guardians are facing the Bucks at the right time seeing as the Bucks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for East Catholic, they will challenge South Windsor at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
