Volleyball Recap: Harmony's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Hughes Springs on Friday, Harmony came back down to earth. Harmony lost 3-0 to New Diana on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 25, 2023, but that streak is no more.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-20.

New Diana found their leader in sophomore Kenzie Thompson, who had 20 digs and two aces.

With the defeat, Harmony broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-11. As for New Diana, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Harmony is set to challenge their familiar foe Chapel Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, New Diana will face off against rival Daingerfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
