Volleyball Recap: Colonial's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Colonial had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Edgewater Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. For the Grenadiers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15.

Colonial's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Edgewater, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Colonial will be playing at home against Innovation at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Edgewater, they will venture away from home to square off against Crooms Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
