Spring-Ford won the last time they faced Owen J. Roberts and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 2-1. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by just one run.

Dom Ruggiero looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Luke Sedor was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Cooper Nelson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Spring-Ford and bumps their season record up to 2-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Owen J. Roberts, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spring-Ford will face off against rival Boyertown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Owen J. Roberts is set to square off against their familiar foe Phoenixville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
