Baseball Recap: Judson Comes Up Short

Judson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against the Canyon Cougars, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Judson saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Flowers, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Flowers has hit this season.

Judson's loss dropped their record down to 4-19-1. As for Canyon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Judson is set to square off against their familiar foe Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canyon will take on rival Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
