Baseball Recap: Prue Comes Up Short

After flying high against Foyil last Tuesday, Prue came back down to earth. The Rockets came up short against the Wilson Eagles on Thursday, falling 20-7.

Levi Stucks was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Jordan Hendrix was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Prue's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Prue will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shidler at 5:45 p.m. on April 2. As for Wilson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Central on the 12th.
