Flag Football Game Preview: Yuba City Honkers vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Yuba City Honkers will face off against the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yuba City has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight losses, while Twelve Bridges will come in with three straight wins.

On Thursday, Yuba City and Roseville were almost perfectly matched up, but Yuba City suffered a 28-27 defeat. While losing is never fun, the Honkers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 626th, while the Tigers are ranked 287th).

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges was able to grind out a solid victory over River Valley on Thursday, taking the game 13-2.

Twelve Bridges' win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Yuba City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Yuba City took a serious blow against Twelve Bridges in their previous matchup back in September, falling 54-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Raging Rhinos' Lily Tetz, who threw for 107 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 74 yards and one TD on only five carries.
