Mt. Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Murphysboro, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4-2.

Mt. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Murphysboro, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Gibault Catholic at 6:00 p.m. Murphysboro are facing Gibault Catholic at the right time seeing as Gibault Catholic are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
