Softball Preview: Hugoton Eagles vs. Stanton County Trojans
The Hugoton Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Stanton County Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kynzi Fehringer made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Fehringer was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Lexy Martinez was incredible, going 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Hallie Waldron was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Hugoton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Stanton County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
