Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Meloni Rison and Isabell Orgill Lead Murray to Victory

Murray won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Spartans blew past the Rams 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Murray's got stronger as the match went on, holding Highland to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Murray was led to victory by Isabell Orgill and Meloni Rison. Orgill had 12 digs and two aces, while Rison had 12 digs. Orgill is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Murray's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Murray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Park City on the 16th. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 16th.
