Preview: East Central HomeSchool Patriots vs. Rocket City Falcons
East Central HomeSchool is 8-2 against Rocket City since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The East Central HomeSchool Patriots' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rocket City Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully East Central HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
On Saturday, East Central HomeSchool earned a 50-38 victory over Mt. Pleasant Christian.
Micah Coalson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Coalson is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Emma Nelson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Rocket City gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 48-25 margin over Bluegrass. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Rocket City has posted since November 7, 2023.
East Central HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Rocket City, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
East Central HomeSchool strolled past Rocket City when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 65-51. Does East Central HomeSchool have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rocket City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
