Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They took a blow against the Burlington City Blue Devils, falling 80-38. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burlington City, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside won't have much time to rest: their next game is against STEMCivics at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Burlington City, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Palmyra at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
