Prescott's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 40-0 victory over the Dysart Demons. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Demons are ranked 94th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rianna Aguilar had another great game (as she tends to do), rushing for 15 yards and one score, while also throwing for 30 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Prescott didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maggie Maneely and Brinkley Larson. Maneely is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Prescott's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Dysart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Prescott will be taking part in a tournament against Hamilton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dysart, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Desert Sunrise at 6:00 p.m.
