Trinity Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Hesston Swathers with a sharp 10-3 win on Friday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Josiah Sems was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Camdon Killgore was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Trinity Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hesston, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7.

As of now, neither Trinity Academy nor the Swathers have any future games scheduled.
