Volleyball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Northwestern Bulls, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

While Booker T. Washington ultimately came up short, they really made Northwestern work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 26-24.

Booker T. Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will take on Mourning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwestern, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Miami at 3:30 p.m. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulls surely won't give up without a fight.
