Newark Valley is 3-0 against Lansing since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Newark Valley Cardinals face off against the Lansing Bobcats at 7:00 p.m.

Newark Valley will head out to face Lansing after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Newark Valley fell 51-38 to Watkins Glen. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lansing). They came out on top against Whitney Point by a score of 63-52 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Newark Valley's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4. As for Lansing, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Newark Valley strolled past Lansing when the teams last played back in January by a score of 48-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Newark Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
