The Air Academy Kadets will square off against the Golden Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Air Academy will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Rampart, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Kadets put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 36-12 win on Friday. Considering the Kadets have won four games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Air Academy found their leader in sophomore Madden Pohl, who rushed for 103 yards and two scores on only 12 carries.
Air Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Air Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Malnar and Dakari Burr. Burr is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Malnar got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Golden was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Highlands Ranch by a score of 21-14. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Demons were down 14-0 in the second quarter.
Golden's win came from a few key players Air Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Demling, who threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Ethan Bonafede was Demling's top target, picking up 26 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
One reason for the win was Golden's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Joey Filippone, Ben Adler, and Andrew Stefanski, who each picked up one sack apiece. Golden got some further help from Filippone: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 11 total tackles.
The win got Air Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Golden, their record is now 7-3.
