If Lewis-Palmer wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mountain Vista, they should've done a better job of containing Kennedy Schmidt. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Schmidt, who had six digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

Mountain Vista walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 14-25, 25-16.

Mountain Vista's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brie Bowyer, who had 21 assists and three digs. Another player making a difference was Anna Morella, who had nine digs and two aces.

Lewis-Palmer lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cady Knight, who had 20 digs.
