Baseball Recap: Cate Falls Short of La Quinta in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cate couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Peter Lehman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Chase Meyer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Cate's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for La Quinta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

As of now, neither Cate nor the Aztecs have any future games scheduled.
