Soccer Recap: Pahokee Takes a Loss

Pahokee managed to keep up with Boynton Beach until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Blue Devils came up short against the Tigers, falling 5-1.

Pahokee's goal came courtesy of Fernando Gonzalez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pahokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boynton Beach, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Pahokee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Glades Day at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Boynton Beach, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Dreyfoos School of the Arts on the 13th.
