Football Recap: Rincon/University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rincon/University extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They were outmatched by the Empire Ravens and fell 43-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 43-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Rincon/University's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaac Sanford, who picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Jacob Jackson, who threw for 220 yards and a pair of TDs. Preston Fierko also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

As for Empire, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. Considering they have won three contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jalen Camacho was his usual excellent self, rushing for 106 yards and four scores.
