Softball Recap: Windermere Prep Takes a Loss

Windermere Prep lost to East River back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylie Konstand was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

Windermere Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for East River, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windermere Prep will face off against Lyman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for East River, they will challenge St. Cloud at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
