The Covenant came tearing into Friday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Eastern Mennonite Flames as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering The Covenant have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Eastern Mennonite from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elle Higgonbotham led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The Covenant pushed their record up to 15-1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight matchups. As for Eastern Mennonite, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-2-1 record.
