Football Game Preview: Gardiner vs. Morse

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Gardiner will square off against Morse at 7:00 PM on Friday. Gardiner come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Gardiner, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-27 walloping at Leavitt's hands.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Morse, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. Everything went their way against Mt. Ararat as they made off with a 38-16 victory. The rankings were on Morse's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Morse's win lifted them to 4-4 while Gardiner's loss dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Morse can repeat their recent success or if Gardiner bounce back and reverse their fortune.
