Volleyball Recap: Devine's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

After losing to East Bernard the last time they met, Devine decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warhorses / Arabians narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Brahmas 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warhorses / Arabians have posted since September 20, 2024.

Devine had a senior duo take command as Kynedie Cruz had 11 digs and nine assists and Cami Carroll had 11 digs and six assists. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Cruz. Peyton Dixon-Davis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Devine was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory (which was Devine's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. As for East Bernard, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.
