Softball Preview: Riley County Falcons vs. Marysville Bulldogs

Riley County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Marysville Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Riley County lost 11-4 to Rock Creek last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Marysville got the win against Concordia on Tuesday by a conclusive 10-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Marysville.

Trinty Hager spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Lindsey Dressman was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
