Baseball Recap: Lake Norman Charter Takes a Loss

Lake Norman Charter blew Robinson out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Robinson got their revenge. The Knights fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 5-3. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lake Norman Charter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corey Bean, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Lake Norman Charter's record now sits at 8-5. As for Robinson, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Coming up, Lake Norman Charter will square off against Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Spiders at the right time seeing as the Spiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Robinson, they will take on West Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
