Evansville North has gone 8-2 against Evansville Mater Dei recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Evansville North will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Evansville North is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Evansville Reitz with a sharp 14-2 win on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Evansville North got a massive performance out of Gideon Rice, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Rice a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Conner Watson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Evansville North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Evansville Mater Dei earned a 9-4 win over Heritage Hills on Wednesday.

Evansville Mater Dei's victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1. As for Evansville North, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
