Volleyball Game Preview: Ouray Trojans vs. Norwood Mavericks + How To Watch

Ouray is 2-8 against Norwood since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Ouray came up short against Dove Creek and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 16-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Ouray saw an underclassman step up: freshman Imogene Demuth had 25 digs. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Demuth.

Meanwhile, Norwood came up short against Telluride on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Norwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Ouray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Ouray's way against Norwood in their previous matchup back in September, as Ouray made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Mavericks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
