Volleyball Recap: Lake Placid Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lake Placid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Peru Nighthawks, falling 3-0. The Bombers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Nighthawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-13.

Brooke Meyer paced Lake Placid's offense, picking up five kills. Meyer got some help from Ellie Shipman and her four assists.

Lake Placid's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Peru, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Lake Placid and Peru will both be playing Plattsburgh the next time they take the court. The Bombers will head out to face the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Nighthawks will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
