Basketball Recap: Teutopolis' Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Teutopolis lost against Edwardsville back in December of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes lost to the Edwardsville Tigers on the road by a 60-41 margin.

Teutopolis' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6. As for Edwardsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Teutopolis will face off against Effingham at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Edwardsville, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Edwardsville Tigers take on the O'Fallon Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. O'Fallon will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Edwardsville surely won't give up without a fight.
