Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Eagles vs. Lititz Christian Eagles
The High Point Baptist Academy Eagles can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Lititz Christian 75-51. Given High Point Baptist Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Lititz Christian is ranked 657th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
High Point Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nehemiah Seifert out in front who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Rogers, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the defeat, Lititz Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jack Kriebel dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Kriebel hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Caeden Harmon, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
High Point Baptist Academy's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Lititz Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Point Baptist Academy will play host again and welcome Varsity Opponent, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lititz Christian, they will be playing at home against Veritas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Veritas Academy is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
