Baseball Recap: Glens Falls Find Success

Glens Falls hadn't done well against Schuylerville recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Black Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Horses, sneaking past 4-3. That's two games straight that the Black Bears have won by just one run.

Jacob Hubert made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Glens Falls: the team is 6-0-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Chace Davidson, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
