Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Wilson

Wilson waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Darlington Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Wilson was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Lauren Sehnke paced Wilson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sehnke got some help from Janielle Carbonell and her 32 assists. Finally, Veda Lewis kept Wilson's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Darlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Wilson has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against North Augusta on the 22nd. As for Darlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against May River on the 22nd.
