After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fremont, Gunn was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Milpitas Trojans. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Milpitas scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20.

Gunn's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Milpitas, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Gunn will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Wilcox at 6:45 p.m. As for Milpitas, they will head out to take on Eastside College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
