Football Recap: Aberdeen Extends Road Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

After only 12 points in their last game, Aberdeen made sure to put some points up on the board against Rochester on Saturday. The Bobcats strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 35-20. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 33-7 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Micah Schroeder was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and one TD.

Rochester's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ethan Rodriguez, who rushed for 100 yards and one score, and Maddox Rodgers, who rushed for 90 yards on only 11 carries.

Aberdeen's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.2 points on average over those games. As for Rochester, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aberdeen will challenge Hoquiam at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Grizzlies have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Rochester, they are taking a road trip to challenge Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
