Volleyball Recap: Hamilton County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hamilton County lost against Taylor County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Hamilton County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Taylor County's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Meeka Jackson, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high. Abbigale Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Taylor County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Hamilton County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Corinth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Taylor County, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Chiefland on the 30th.
