Baseball Game Preview: Snook Bluejays vs. Weimar Wildcats

The Snook Bluejays will take on the Weimar Wildcats in a tournament on Friday. Snook hasn't scored more than two runs for six games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Snook's tournament run continued when they took on Onalaska on Thursday. Snook lost 26-1 to Onalaska.

Snook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Lacaze, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Ramiro Martinez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Weimar faced off against Hempstead on Thursday. Weimar was the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Hempstead. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Weimar's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Snook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
