Softball Recap: Bordentown Makes It Five in a Row at Home

After losing to Northern Burlington the last time they met, Bordentown decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Scotties sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Greyhounds on Wednesday.

Bordentown pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Northern Burlington, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bordentown will square off against rival Burlington Township at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northern Burlington is set to face off against their familiar foe Cinnaminson at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
