Football Recap: Notre Dame Beats Castilleja for Their Fourth Straight Win

Notre Dame waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 19-6 victory over the Castilleja Gators. Given the Regents' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Gators are ranked 239th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Castilleja, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Notre Dame will face off against rival Everett Alvarez at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Castilleja is set to square off against their familiar foe Pinewood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
