Volleyball Recap: Logan-Rogersville Starts Season with Win at Home

Logan-Rogersville took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Clever Blue Jays by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Logan-Rogersville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-14, 25-11, 25-17.

Millie Bauer paced Logan-Rogersville's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bauer got some help from Kamryn Marshall and her 40 assists. Leah Lenington and Hailey Buckman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Logan-Rogersville has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ozark on the 2nd. As for Clever, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Webb City on the 2nd.
