Volleyball Recap: Hopkinton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hopkinton was the 3-1 winner over Ashland when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Hillers came up short against the Clockers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hillers have suffered against the Clockers since September 14, 2022.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Hopkinton still got an impressive performance from Gabby Pattie, who had nine digs and two aces. Pattie is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Leading Ashland to victory were Quinn Herter and Rose Berliner. Herter had nine digs and four assists, while Berliner had seven digs and two aces. Lili Vitti also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Hopkinton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7. As for Ashland, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-9.

Hopkinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Bishop Feehan on the 23rd. Ashland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
