Emanuel County Institute came into Monday's game looking for another win against Claxton, but Jayda Jordan wouldn't allow it. The Claxton Tigers pulled ahead with a 48-47 photo finish over the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Monday thanks in part to Jordan, who dropped a double-double with 35 points and 19 boards. That makes it 24 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Claxton's points.

Claxton's record is now 7-18. As for Emanuel County Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.

Claxton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-34 loss against Portal on the 11th. Emanuel County Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
