Basketball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Takes a Loss

North Yarmouth Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Monmouth Academy Mustangs 75-21. The Panthers lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 59-35 score last time.

North Yarmouth Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Monmouth Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Yarmouth Academy will welcome Waynflete at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monmouth Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Dirigo at 6:30 p.m.
