Eastern Guilford kept a clean sheet against High Point Central on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Bison. It was an even better day for J'Nya Purcell as she scored five goals for her team.

The win (which was Eastern Guilford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four matches. As for High Point Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-12-3 record this season.
