Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Jesup

Jesup came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 62-58 win over the Union Knights. This was a revenge game for the J-Hawks: when they faced off against the Knights back in December of 2024, they had to take a 55-46 loss.

Jesup is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Union, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-6.

Jesup didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-53 victory against Wapsie Valley on the 25th. Union has also already played their next match (against Grundy Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
